Breaking Through Comfort Zones
From my experience, I have learned that it is easier to meet new people when attending smaller functions rather than events drawing large numbers. In large gatherings, people tend to quickly form small circles for comfort and these are difficult to penetrate.
I’ve also found that people in particular careers are more difficult to connect with. Teachers, cops and newspaper types all tend to have war stories that they enjoy sharing with their peers.
